Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using FoundersChat. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FoundersChat mobile application ("App") operated by Gnanz TechLabs ("we", "our", "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FoundersChat. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

The App is intended for entrepreneurs, startup founders, and professionals looking to build or join startups. Use of the App for any other purpose is at your own discretion.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
  • Not impersonate any person or entity
  • Not share your account with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at founderschat.admin@gmail.com

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain false information.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Spam other users with unsolicited messages or connection requests
  • Share illegal content or content that violates third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
  • Use the App for pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or fraudulent investment solicitation
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract user data using automated means
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software that could harm the App or other users

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on FoundersChat (profile, ideas, messages, comments). By posting content, you grant Gnanz TechLabs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of operating the App.

You are solely responsible for your content and represent that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

5. No Investment or Business Advice

FoundersChat is a networking platform. Nothing in the App constitutes investment advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any other professional advice. Any connections, ideas, or discussions on the platform are between users and we are not a party to any business agreement you enter into with other users.

We are not responsible for the outcome of any business relationship formed through the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights in the FoundersChat App, its design, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Gnanz TechLabs. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.

The FoundersChat name and logo are trademarks of Gnanz TechLabs.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any content on the App is accurate or complete. We are not responsible for user-generated content posted by other users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gnanz TechLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or INR 1,000 if you have not made any payments).

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time via the "Delete Account" option in the app menu.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at founderschat.admin@gmail.com. We will make good faith efforts to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notification or by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
