Delete your account
You can remove your FoundersChat account and its data at any time.
Fastest way: open FoundersChat, tap the menu, choose Delete Account, and confirm. This happens immediately — no email, no waiting.
If you can't sign in
If you've lost access or no longer have the app installed, email founderschat.admin@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Account deletion request. We'll confirm it's your account and delete it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, bio, role, domain, stage, location, skills and photo
- Your ideas, your comments, and interest requests you sent or received
- Your direct messages, and your membership of any group chats
- Your connections and any pending connection requests
- Your notifications and your stored notification token
- Your saved sign-in credentials
What may remain, and why
- Group chat messages. Messages you sent in a shared group may stay visible to the other members, shown without your profile, so the conversation still makes sense to them.
- Safety records. Reports filed about your account are kept for safety and legal reasons.
- Anonymous diagnostics. Crash and usage records that aren't linked to you are retained.
- Backups. Copies in routine backups are purged on their normal rotation, within 90 days.
This can't be undone
Deleting is permanent. There's no way to restore an account or its content afterwards, and signing up again with the same email creates a fresh, empty account.
